Candle Care
Maximize the longevity and safety of your candle with these essential care tips:
- Trim the Wick: Before each burn, ensure the wick is trimmed to 5mm. This simple step not only extends the life of your candle but also promotes a cleaner burn.
- Prevent Tunneling: Allow the candle wax to melt all the way to the edge of the glass during the initial use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
- Burn Time: Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a stretch. This helps maintain optimal performance and prevents overheating.
- Safety First: Never leave a candle unattended, especially around flammable materials. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and always place it on a level, fire-resistant surface.
- Monitor Wax Level: Discard the candle once the wax reaches approximately 5mm from the bottom of the jar to prevent any accidents or overheating.
- Maximize Usage: Don't toss out your leftover candle! Instead, freeze it. Once frozen, crack the candle in the middle with a knife, and the remaining wax will easily detach, ready for reuse.
