About Adriana

As a clinical psychologist, I’ve dedicated myself to providing comprehensive behavioral health services across diverse settings, including primary care clinics, community centers, and hospitals. My holistic approach, developed through seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Contextual Functional Therapies. This allows me to offer personalized, evidence-based paths to healing and growth.

I work with clients who understand the value of mental and emotional well-being, addressing concerns like mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, life transitions, stress management, and self-esteem challenges. Additionally, many of my clients face chronic conditions—such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, or women’s health issues—that affect both their physical and emotional health.

Through my research, particularly my dissertation on burnout among Puerto Rican healthcare providers, I’ve found that burnout often stems from specific stressors and a misalignment between one’s work and core values. This discovery has guided my practice, helping patients identify and reconnect with their values, and engage in meaningful self-care activities. My mission is to help clients not only manage stress but also thrive by aligning their lives with their most important values.
